Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward is one of Atlanta’s hottest intown neighborhoods.  It’s undergoing an urban renewal and the neighborhood is vibrant and alive. The Old Fourth Ward is one of the oldest sections of Atlanta where old and new come together.  This historically diverse community is located east of downtown Atlanta, west of the Poncey-Highland and Inman Park neighborhoods, and south Midtown Atlanta. The Old Fourth Ward is home to the MLK Jr. National Historic Site and the Sweet Auburn Historic District, a National Historic Landmark.The neighborhood was the original home of Morris Brown College and Clark College and later Clark Atlanta University.  Today, the area south of Irwin Street is the most eclectic part of the Old Fourth Ward where most of the single family homes are located.

The Masquerade is a popular live music venue in the Old Fourth Ward in Atlanta, GA.  The Masquerade has 3 indoor stages and the Masquerade Music Park, an open air amphitheater located behind The Masquerade.

Historic Fourth Ward Park is an oasis in the middle of the city and is steps off the Eastside Trail.  This fantastic park includes the world class Old Fourth Ward Skatepark, open green space, a playground, and a splash pad with multiple water jets.
