Buying a Home in Grant Park with an ADA Grant

Andrew was looking for a newer construction home with a garage but loved where he currently lived in Grant Park. Homes with garages can be rare when you are house hunting in an older neighborhood and these houses often come with a higher price tag. In order to raise his price point and make one of these homes more affordable, Andrew decided to use the Atlanta Development Authority Home Ownership Program, or what is commonly referred to as an ADA Housing Grant.

The ADA combines a variety of different down payment assistance programs and grants, as well as offering its own traditional 30 year fixed rate mortgage which in most cases has a lower interest rate than you can get anywhere else. The combination of these two can often raise your purchase price while making home ownership more affordable at the same time.

Andrew has now closed on his house and it’s bigger and better than he thought possible when we first began his house hunt. The process was pain free, and he is very happy with the outcome.

If you or anyone you know would like more info on the ADA programs, contact us today. We can help guide you through the process, select the best homes and neighborhoods for these programs, and put you in touch with the best ADA approved lenders.

The ADA has limited funds, so get started today!
