The Best Places to Catch Fireworks on the 4th of July in Atlanta

Celebrate the 4th of July with a great fireworks display. Atlanta offers a few spots around the city to watch them. Here are some of the most popular displays:

Centennial Olympic Park – Park gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at approximately 9:40 p.m.
The finale of the evening is Centennnial Olympic Park’s Fireworks Spectacular, Atlanta’s best fireworks display synchronized to a special selection of patriotic and popular music.

Lenox Square Legendary 4th – Musical entertainment begins at 6 p.m.  Fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:35 p.m.

Downtown Decatur – The Pied Piper parade begins at First Baptist Church of Decatur at 6 p.m and is followed by music form the Callanwolde Concert Band.  The fireworks display will start at approximately 9 p.m.

Turner Field – If you’re at the Braves game on the 4th, be sure to stay for the fireworks following the game.
